Best way to change fork fluid - DIY
I have a 2011 Super Glide Custom. The front suspension on my bike is a little sluggish. So I have decided to upgrade the fork spring and change the fork fluid. Does anyone here have experience in doing this yourself?
Am I able to siphon out the old fluid while the forks are still on the bike? Or do I need to remove the forks from the bike and essentially dump out the old fork fluid?

Done a lot of forks...
While there are several different techniques that get used to replace springs and fluid, it's really not a big deal to remove them and dump them out. Siphoning will never get all the old fluid out.
However, if you want to get them really cleaned out so that the new fluid and springs are most happy, then you might want to consider taking them apart and really cleaning them out.
New fork seals and bushings at the same time will mean that your forks are essentially new all over again.
All the best,
Shane
