Default Brake Fluid Flush 2015 Road King

I own a 2015 Road King with ABS brakes and I'm looking for info on flushing the system. I've heard that it has to be done every two years and only the dealer can do it because of some proprietary computer software that they have. I am alway weary of Harley when they say they are the only ones that can do something. There is usually a way around them that will enable me to do it myself. Does any one have any info on this? Thanks.

There are a few good threads out there on this. It depends who you ask. Some guys insist take it to the dealer because brakes are a life safety issue not to be messed with, plus the dealer has the DT thing to flush the ABS HCU. Me, I bled my brakes until all the old fluid was out then took the bike on some gravel and activated the ABS a few times which pumped the new fluid into the HCU. That leaves a few teaspoons of old fluid from the HCU in my system, but that's good enough for me.
