Default 1997 FLHRI front fork question

So I decided to drop the roadkings air and go with progressive, the manual says there's supposed to be a spring on the bottom not on my model. So wondering if I have it placed correctly Is this the correct way?

This is correct...did you put the "Top Out" Spring on the damper before sliding down the tube?

You won't see the spring after it's installed...it will be sitting inside the Fork tube surrounding the damper tube.
