is it me or does it look very funny with chrome switch housing w/ Stainless steel bars?? Just made the switch this weekend, and I can tell the bars aren't chrome. They look blue-ish. Now thinking about changing over to chrome bars. Was about to order the HD Pull Back bars but realized they were polished SS too.............

Am I just being ****?????

 

Ran for many years with chrome switch housings and the stock buckhorn SS bars. Didn't really bother me. I did polish the bars to keep a good shine.

HD sells a chrome version of nearly all the stock bars. I may bea little **** too, because the stainless bars did not look right to me with the chrome switch housings. I went with chrome 10 inch mini-apes.

 

It is one of the things that drives me crazy on my Deluxe; cheap sh*tty steel bars that look naff compared to all the chrome....come on HD stop cutting corners (even if you do make a fortune by doing so)!

Anyone know the typical cost of switching them out? Labour plus bars?
