Default Matching motor to frame

How do i check to see if my motor is the original to this frame

I was told that the vin's would never be the same bc they are two different items.

Mine doesn't because I swapped it out.. No worries because I am keeping it fir another 10 years or more.

They told you wrong! Decades ago the frame and engine numbers were routinely different, but that has not been the case since VINs were introduced, which provide a world-wide standard for such numbers. Your auto will have a VIN of similar format to your Harley.
