There is a passage you'll have to block off for compression damping adjuster.
How can I do thIs? Is there a picture of which bolt it is?

On most forks, bolt 13 is 8mm. In dx forks it is 10mm.

22 is the pintle for low speed compression damping. That needs to be plugged also.

Is there somewhere I can get a 10mm bolt that isn't hollow then? And how can I plug 22? Sorry, for the questions. It really sucks you can't get the FXD right lower anymore. I will be using Legend Axeo cartridges in the forks also. Thanks

It's not so much that you a get bolt without a hole but more important that you need to figure out how to come up with a way that allow you to bolt the Axeo cartridge into the lower. The Axeo damper likely as a 8mm treaded hole in it like the stock FXD uses. Heck you might be able to thread the bottom of the Axeo cartridges to fit the 10mm DX bolt, use the valve and make the axeo damper adjustable for compression. I don't really know as I've not messed with Axeo carts. I have messed with DX forks tho.

45922-08 is 25mm. I needed 46077-04. When I look up damper bolts, it's showing the FXD 8mm bolt working for FXDX. I will have to use the stops or alignment cups from the FXD to make the axeos work in the dx also. Will switching the stops solve the problem, or is the bottom of the slider itself threaded for 10mm? Thanks.

Correct ... and your 05 has a 1" axle ... but same diameter at the slider mating points (ie. interchangeable)

That 10mm bolt screws into the cartridge on a FXDX. not the slider. That bolt is what holds the cartridge in place. In all the other FXDs it's a 8mm bolt holding the damping rod or in your case I assume the Axeo cartridge.

So the 04-05 had 25mm sliders as well, not one inch? It was just a 1" axle, bearings, and spacers?

So I could just throw in the fxd stops and and 8mm bolts and be fine if I need to use fxdx sliders? I would rather just use 45922-08 however, if it is directly interchangeable. Do you know if 45922-08 is the satin color silver like the FXD? Thanks for all this info. Harley was not helpful at all in helping me try and figure this out. Especially if it was as easy as using the 45922-08 slider
