Default Changing Upper Brake Line Question

I am in the process of changing the upper line on my '10 FLHX with ABS. My question is, when I release the banjo bolt at the master cylinder will brake fluid come out or no? I already changed out the lower lines (to the front calipers) without issue but this one makes me nervous as it is the source of the power.

Thanks ahead

Bill

Yes brake fluid will come out of the line/connection to the master cylinder. If you mean will the master cylinder evacuate itself without pressing the lever then the answer is no.

Rest assured, a little brake fluid goes a long way.
