Default Has anyone changed their brake setup?

Curious if anyone has changed out calipers or brake pads and gotten a better braking result on their Hog over the stock stuff.

check out the above link
I have had the Lyndall gold pads for about a year and they are a GREAT improvement over stock. Better braking, shorter stops, less fade, less pulsing, no squealing. Excellent product. Follow break-in procedure.

Just put the Lyndall Z-Plus pads on my bike today. Only rode a few miles in town, but they do feel firmer and smoother. I think they will get better as they break in.

I also went with the Lyndall Z Plus, but my motive is to try and keep my whitewalls clean. Too early to tell..

When we bought our new SEUC it came with stainless braded brake lines. WOW what a difference over stock, it has alot more braking power with no fade and less effort. Another benefit is a better tactile feedback on the lever and pedal. Just my 2 cents worth.

Ride safe!

Thanks for the info. I made the switch to braided right when I bought the bike and highly recommend them.

I went with HHI's front and rear on my Softail. Definitely a difference in stopping distance. Since my Bagger has dual discs I stayed with stock calipers and changed to Lyndall pads in the rear and SDC's in the front. There seems to be a difference in stopping distance. Obviously without doing actual testing it is hard to tell what the difference is but the a$$ meter says they stop better.
