Default Progressive Cartridges in front forks?

I'm plannng to replace my front fork lowers with chrome. While I have them off, I'm wondering if I should install Progressive Shock Cartridges.

For those that have installed the Progressives, what is your long term experience? I'm doing this on a TriGlide, so TriGlide specific replies would be great...but others would be interesting as well, so please include the bike you have them on.

Thanks,...

Don't have a clue how this will apply to the trike but, on my ElctraGlide I installed the 'Monotubes' and they made a world of difference. Firmer in corners and braking without any harshness on bumps
