Default Wheel Swapping

I have a chance to pick up a set of HD factory blackcast 16" and 19" aluminum spoked wheels at a reasonable price.
The wheels and tires look like new and theycame off a 2003 Dyna with a narrow front end. The question is will these wheels fit on my 1993 FXLR? I don't want to fork the cash out and find out that they do not fit.

I think that you'll have a problem, only because somewhere along the line, HD changed the axle sizes on the Dynas and I if I remember correctly, the later wheels were a 1", earlier wheels were a 3/4", but check with the stealer to be sure.

Yes,
You are right and thank you for responding. In the interim I contacted Renegade wheels and got the scoop from the experts. It can be done, but is not cost effective. What you would save in the price of the wheels would be offset by having to purchase new rotors and a rear pulley. The bearings in the wheel can be changed from 1" to 3/4", but the holes in the pulley and rotors is smaller on the 93 and won't interchange with the later model wheels. Best advice I received was to look for a set that will fitmy model year spread, goin that now.
