Default changing wheels

I have a 01 RKC with stock spokes. I am looking to get wheels from a 06 ultraglide. I am pretty sure I can use my 3/4 bearing in an inch wheel.......just wondering about the hub, and if it will change spacing? Thanks

Default RE: changing wheels

definately a part guy at the dealer question. Have him look up the wheels for a 01 RK vs 06 EG and see if all the part #s are the same. The last 2 digits of the part# are the kicker. part 12324-00 if found on a 07 bike will work on any bike model from 2000 - 2007

Default RE: changing wheels

The two year wheels are the same spacing/rotor widths. The difference will be the wheel bearings, the 01 touring bikes have 1" front bearings and 3/4" rear bearings that will need to be chanded to the 1" bearings. The front fit unchanged; You will need (2) 1" bearings and (1) Crush Tube in the 1" size for therear wheel.the crush tube goes between the bearings and acts as a spacer on the axle between the bearings.

Questions? call me durring the week. Parts are available and very reasonable.

Chuck
