Default Why is site painfully slow?

I have DSL running at 3Mbps and relatively new laptop and this site seems to run as slow as molasses. The wait time between screens is frustrating. Is it just me or are other members encountering the same sluggishness?

Slow for me also. When I post something my back arrow no longer takes me back. Wasn't like this 6 months ago.

Same here. I am running high speed comcast cable and it takes so long for a page to load I usually go to another window and visit another site, then come back later. This site is the slowest, by a big shot, than any other website I go to. I'm sure part of the problem is all the graphics that are always shown along with the forums. Most of the other sites I frequent have an option to just show the forums. It eliminates all the advertising and makes things much faster.

I'm glad to see it's just not me, I've timed out twice already this morning, but this has been a on going issue for me, just on this site though, it's very frustrating.I hope they can get it fixed.

Membership volume and the boatload of information that is available on this site is awesome. But if HDForums.com can't do something about the waiting[sm=sleeping.gif], I may consider other forum options. The lag time is just too ridiculous. Help spread the word and let's see if we can get some help from the forum administrators. Thanks for any member and/or administator help.

What other forum options are you considering?

I agree the site is slow but let's face it - it's way better than anything else out there!!!!
