I read HDForums.com nearly on a daily basis. If at home and not riding I would rather read the latest than vegg in front of the TV. Using my iPad is my preferred choice by the pool or under the AC. My bitchin' and moaning is all these damn pop up ads. Am I the only one or is it cause I use an iPad but every other page has a pop ad that is annoying as hell and in your face.

I have no problem with ads on a site as big as HDForums.com and understand they would like to make a profit but this is jus obnoxious and uncool. Ads on bottom, top and right side and now pop ups. Has become BS!

If it wasn't for the wealth of information here I would have bailed out long ago. BUT if this keeps getting more and more flagrant then I will be outa here.

A pop up opened when I clicked on your post. They seem to be occurring more frequently today. Very annoying.

 

It's not even motorcycle related stuff. Had one pop up while typing and took me to some hybrid games bs

 

Don't they have a app for that too?
On my computer I use AdBlock Plus - works great.

Idk, I'm using iPad also. My phone gets them too. I have unlimited data on phone so I would like a pop up blocker for that too.

i agree, i use my iphone and those damn pop up ads drive me crazy

 

i use my ipad too, and yep, they are a pain!!!!And, if i'm scrolling down, and an ad pops up, it might continue to scroll a tad, leaving the ad's "X" at the top, that is no longer visible, then i gotta reload the page.
