site ads
This site became pretty unbearable due to ads displaying in every picture in every thread.. just wanted to pass on what worked for me: adblocker addin for Google Chrome. If you're not using Chrome, you should be.. anyway, just wanted to share that info, it fixed my issues. Get it here.

I noticed that on my iPhone, and while it was annoying, it wasn't a deal breaker.. that scrolly *** ad on every image I saw on the pc tonight was just awful.

this is crazy- isnt anyone moderating this board? sure seems like they are asleep at the wheel...
this needs to be fixed ASAP or this board will lose its regulars. there are plenty of harley boards without this b.s. !!

Ya I noticed that on my iPhone too. Every time I click on something a car ad with a VW pops up. I thought I was logged out (some forums have a lot of advertisements if your viewing as a non member)

I understand I shouldn't expect much for free, but holy **** they're irritating.

I get that too, and if they're not making enough money from the advertisers to keep the site free.. cool, just say so. I'd pay a small subscription to live here; this is the best sportster community on the net.
If they drive us away they won't make a dime on ads... truth is, we're getting this site for free, but the site is also getting something for free: our traffic viewing their ads. Seems like a win-win.
Don't get too greedy mods. Adblocker works.. I'm happy. If it didn't I'd have likely relocated to XLF. They don't feel like home, but they're viewable.
