Question Getting logged out between visits...

Just about every time I open the forum I have to log in. I check the remember me box, I've cleared all cookies and I mark the forum read every time I visit. Any suggestions.....Anyone else having this problem??

If your clearing out your cookies (that just sounds wrong) your cleaning out your saved passwords.

Ranger, I've logged in after clearing the cookies from the board, and still been logged out the next time I return. I cleared the cookies to get a fresh start on the login process in case that would work. I use quite a few V-Bulletin forums and this is the only one that logs me out between visits!

Do not clear your cookies and do not clear your history, this is why you are being logged out. look in your computers internet options by clicking tools-internet options-select history settings, see how many days are selected to keep pages in history, if 0-10 you may want to change to something higher like 60 days and you can also select "delete browsing history" in tools and look to see what is selected with a check mark. make sure that all 7 boxes are selected, these are what save your login and passwords. caution, if this is a public computer-work,ect.. do not select these items because anyone who accesses your computer can access your websites and log in as you.

So-Cal, My puter is set up not to clear things. I did it as a last effort on trying to fix this problem! As I said earlier, I visit a few V-Bulletin forums and this is the only one that gives me this grief. It's at the point now where I don't bother logging in unless I have something to say.............
