This Forum & Slow Page Display
Does anyone know how to speed up displaying each page on this forum?
I run 12 Dn and 2 UP, Tuesday I will be 30 Dn and 4 UP.
I clear my cookies out regularly.
I have a tower computer that runs vry fast with 4Gig of ram.
Does anyone else have slow loading pages? It is hard to "quantify" what slow is but it is annoying to surf here because it is just.......slow.
Sry if I am not clear enough on what slow is.

Try changing the display options in your user control panel so it wont display sig pics or to less posts per page.
The less information that has to load per page the quicker the page should load.
Other than that, this is a very large forum so the fact that it loads slower than other sites is expected.

Have to ask...what kind of ISP/connection you have??? Your PC can be the fastest ***** on the net, but will choke if it's traveling through a straw...

ISP is COMCAST. They are big around this here parts. Also I am hardwired into it. Even re-set the comcast unit.
