When your search attempt fails do it again. Most of the time it will work the second time.

Nope, I tried all kinds of searches yesterday and today and it still comes up with nothing.

If your having trouble searching via the forum, do this.
Type the following into Google search.

site:hdforums.com brake pads

You'll get this..>Click<

What's convoluted about it, it's better than getting
this result from the forum.."Sorry - no matches.
Please try some different terms." I tried it and it
worked for me. I have a Google box in the upper
right corner of my browser and all I have to do is
type in the same thing I would in the forum box
and bingo.

And how would that search string go trying to find all my posts?

And it would come up with this.

You can very the key words to fit, such
as "thealien saddle bags."
It's better than NO search, right? It's something to use
until they get it fixed.
Here's what I get from the forum right now.
