Default WTF is it with these "Audio" ads that pop up!?!?!?

All of a sudden now on the forums here. I get this Audio ad that starts blaring in my ear!!. It's driving me crazy. How do you turn them off?? When I hit "Ctrl, Alt, Delete" and bring up the task manager nothing shows up as running in the backround so I guess it's coming straight from HD forums. Bad enough I have to be a "Paid Member" now. I thought being a paid member meant less pop up ads, now I have to deal with audio ads???? Come on, Give me a break!!!!!

I figured since the ad that keeps coming on was for the new "Ford Explorer" it was a website sponsored ad. This constant advertizing being thrown in my face drives me nuts!!! Thanks for the heads up, Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of it!!

Thanks. It also seems odd that HD forums is the only site this happens with. I don't get the audio ads with other forums or websites.

I haven't had that problem on the site.

But I do hear voices.

They are always telling me strange things.

But that has been going on so long I have learned to just ignore them.

Ever hear of a truelly revolutionary little thing called AD BLOCKER ? I didn't know this site had pop up ads till people bitched about them and just so you know they are also why this site is so fuggen slow on occasion .

You have to be running IE as your browser , try Mozilla FireFox and download the Ad Blocker plug in and you'll never see or hear another annoying *** ad anywhere again .
