Ben

I'm having the same issue with a Windows PC running IE 8.

The header will load and the rest of the screen will be blank. Most of the time the status bar states done but with errors on page.

For several weeks I've experienced threads that took forever to open or would not open at all, or some that would open but would not open when going to the next page of that thread.

I figured the system may have been overloaded from too may users or something like that.

I did not want to really complain about something not working correctly on a free site.

Yeah Terry, I don't know man. Just all the sudden it started acting up. It runs fine for a little while and then it just starts. Have to hit the F5 till the page loads. When it started, I did all the virus scan and all that thinking it was my computers, but HDF is the only site I go to where I have this problem.

Yesterday, while useing the crtl + f5 to reload pages, I got a IE popup window thatasked me if I wanted to keep running a script that was running. I clicked no. I don't know where that came from? Usefull info for Adrian maybe.

It's not about complaining. It's about bringing attention to the problem so as the IT is aware of it.

I just got the script thing again. I don't know how to do a screen shot so I wrote it down, It asked;

Stop running the script?

A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.

Of course I click yes, to stop running the script. Hope this helps.....

I know at work, I do not have the issue. But all ads are blocked at work so it seems to something with an advertisement.
That is also suggested by this error that I just got again:

I am having the same issues here too...the script error thing..pages that are slow to load or wont load at all unless you hit the refresh button...screen locking up and have to shut down and sign in again to make it work. I know I dont have many posts but I do like coming in here and have gotten good information from the folks in here but some of the issues with the site need to be addressed.

Same problem here.Sometimes only the top portion of the page loads and then other times a page won't load at all.At the bottom,the status says done.It has gotton worse in the last day or so.If the page loads,its real slow.I cleaned my computer this am.No problem on other sites.I will try my computer at work to see how it is.I am running Vista here and XP at work.Internet Explorer.Not sure what version.At least I know I am not the only one.

For what its worth, IMO its two problems. One is with one particular advertisment on the ad.trafficmp site. I'm not sure if Adrian has any control over that except maybe to find what that ad is and stop it from being displayed here. The other is the script error which I believe is in the 'Quick Reply' box. I got that error yesterday about it running slow so I clicked to stop running it and at that point, the 'Insert Image' button would no longer function.
Its just a guess. Hope that helps.
