Default Messages Too Wide To Fit on Screen

The messages that I see on my computer screen are too wide to fit onto the screen. I have to scroll back and forth multiple times to read every message.

This is very tiresome. I have the print size set as small as I can get it and still read the message without using a magnifying glass.

Is there anything that can be done to make the lines not so wide so that they will fit on my computer screen?

Thanks.

I'd like to know that too. It has to be a setting on your computer. I have a small laptop and I don't have that problem.

I don't know how or why it happens. I visit a variety of other websites (message boards) and it doesn't happen on any of them. It happens to me only on this (hdforums.com) website.

I've reviewed my options settings on this site and can't find anything that looks like it addresses the issue, but maybe I'm overlooking something. That's why I asked the question.

Have you checked your screen resolution settings?
What OS are you running? have you tried to update it?

The only time I ever have seen that is when someone has a really large pic in the post somewhere, as only one big pic will make the entire post that wide.

I used to have that problem, but now with my new HP I have a 24 inch monitor, nothing it too big anymore. It's the one my wife wanted for her birthday so that's
what I got. Hell, I don't even wear glasses working on this thing!

I don't know how to check my screen resolution settings, but as I said, this is the only forum that I have this problem.

I'm running MS Windows XP Home Edition 2002 Version. I update it frequently.

Yeah, but that wouldn't explain why I have this problem with EVERY thread I look at on this site. Surely every thread doesn't have a picture that is too big.

I get the same thing now and then but only on certain posts, not on all of them. Usually when I go to the next page, everything is OK. Never have figured it out.
