I can't get in at all now using my provider going thru the ATT T1's 12.52.88.xx but if I come in with a different provider and IP Block it works fine. (Same Computers, different network) 72.48.174.xx

When using the ATT network, there are no responses from the CarsDirect.Com Router. Did you all block abunch of IP's or a entire block of IP addresses on your firewall by mistake?

Something that helped (allowed me to get on) was to reboot the router and flush my DNS Cache via "IpConfig /flushdns" and the site appears to be pulling up everytime.

I image there may have been some reorganizing on the servers over there and the Cache was keeping us from going to the proper place???

Hey Patrick. Quick question. How the hell did you get such a big picture as your avatar?

Just in case you guys don't know, this ain't no garage operation we got going here. Patrick and Amanda (my bosses) live in Michigan. I live in Illinois and the tech guys we are dealing with are in Kalifornia. Patrick and I (and probably Amanda) have bruises on our foreheads from beating them against the computer screen trying to get this all worked out. Keep the faith.

Spoke too soon, still timing out on the initial try to www.hdforums.com, after a couple of refreshes it appears to go thru. So something still is astray.

Try deleting your shortcut to HDF and then google it and pull it up that way. If that works then save a new shortcut. Let me know here if that works.
Nope...I had already tried that as well. I also downloaded and tried Foxfire...no go. I can't get on the site at all from home. I'm at work now. Even with the T1...it is slow though.

Here is the error message that I get with Foxfire...just an FYI. Since I can browse other sites, none of these are the problem though...

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at hdforums.com.

* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
