Sometimes it takes two minutes for a post to come up for me. I don't have this problem with any other forum. Are others getting this lag time? It's very frustrating. I just give up and cancel the load most of the time. Also, when I post, it takes forever to upload the post, even late at night when there doesn't seem to be a lot of users online. I like this forum, but it's getting to the point that it isn't worth trouble unless I've got lots of time to waste while waiting for a post to come up.

Me too, ever since they switched over to the new server it is slow as a turtle for me. Much slower than prior to the switch.

 

You guys might want to run a trace route...

These forums have never been slow for me, not in posts, loading, nada. No joke.

The forum is so slow, I don't even try to get on it at home- even with DSL. Every page takes 2 to 5 minutes to load.

 

It varies here, but it has been really slow lately. it seems like it is always waiting for all these bill paying ads to load. I guess it's better to have it slow with the bills paid, than not here at all.

 

Same problem here. I am also on DSL and it takes a couple of minutes to load a page. Seems to have gotten much worse lately.

course I'm on single line ISDN dialup - so the pictures on everyones sigs over and over KILL me regardless so . . .

 

I've only found a bandaid fix, but it works. When I go to load a page I wait for 10 sec's and then I hit the X on top of my IE browser to cancel the load, the page pops up and I go to the thread I want. When I open the thred I do the same thing. It is the only way I have found to get aroud the forum in a reasonable amount of time.
