How do I customize the "New Posts" search?

How do I customize the "New Posts" search?
I like clicking New Posts in the blue banner when I come here, but I don't like that half of the posts I see are crap from the Political discussion. Is there a way to customize this search so I only see new posts from sub-forums I commonly frequent?

Well "New Posts" really isn't Customizable like "vBlive" is ... yet ... (the Admins say "it's coming", but it's been a while)
A pretty good 'Workaround" is...
- select "Forums"
- Double click the VTwin engine on the Left of each Forum that you do NOT want to see (that marks it as "Read")
- Select "New Posts" (those posts are "Unread')
You don't have double click every forum you don't want to see. Just the ones that have a lot of activity
Typically I just need to double click 5-6 threads
