Default supertrapp exhaust

can anybody tell how the supertrapp supermegs 2:1 sound? are they loud, i want to be able to hear them as i ride next to somebody. also how is the power on these things with the tuneable discs i heard it is good but want to hear it 1st hand

They can be as loud or quiet as you want, just add or remove discs.

from the saddle they are not loud at all. But while having the bike dynoed I was able to listen to them from off the bike and they are loud enough, not setting car alarm's off loud but very strong, sort of stockcar type rumble as far as power I had a split map made. up to about 3500 rpm fuel econeomy above that horsepower. ended up stage 1 with 71.48 hp 77.96 tq and 40+ mpg as long as I stay out of the throttle.

I have a set that was on my bobber, they were very deep. I ran about 8 disc no cap.

Sound/loudness depends on whether you run with open or closed endcap. I run the closed endcap and I'm happy with the sound because it's not very loud. Open endcap is louder. Think of the endcap as a door. It's quieter with the door closed.

I have the closed end cap with 28 disc, I can rid all day and hear the stereo fine, If I want to make some noise all I have to do is twist on it. Makes the best power of any pipes on the market
