Question HELP! Exhaust Mod - FuelPak vs. Commander

Vance & Hines FuelPak vs. Power Commander

I've been trying to wrap my head around the right way of doing this for my Dyna. I am not a pro when it comes to it, been doing bunch of online research only to find mixed results / points of view. Perhaps there is no right or wrong, but I thought I'd ask and see what you guys think.

I want to get Big Radius 2-in-2 exhaust for my Wide Glide. I also want to upgrade the intake for something like the Cobra powerflo or Arlen Ness deep cut (still searching for the right look). Then do the tuning, but here's the issue:

My mechanic recommends I get FuelPak. Says that power commander is an overkill. Read a bunch of mixed feelings on this one online. Before I spend over 1.2K on this I want to do it the right way.

What are your thoughts? Any pros & cons?
Thanks!!!

Are they similar in price? Not sure about fuelpak, but if you get power commander from fuel moto you get unlimited tune support.

There is $200 difference between the two.

V&H Fuelpak is basically obsolete now with the V&H Fp3 tuner, which would be my choice currently for ease of install and price.

But you can't use the FP3 on older bikes, such as my '11 FLHTK.

Thanks guys. I'll go with the V&H Fuelpak and put the $200 to something else :-).

That's probably what I would have done....I think it doesn't make tons of sense to put a piggyback product like PC on a newer ECM like yours. Let us know how it goes!
