Default RB Racing Black Hole -- FINALLY

WellI FINALLY got my RB Racing BLACK HOLE pipe.

Put it on Friday and finished up with the guards and other stuff on Saturday morning. I figured no sense rushing the silicone sealant. Like everyone else's mine came with NO INSTRUCTIONS but since I was expecting that, no problem.
The quality is every thing I had hoped for, the fit was great, ( although a bit of a pain to install )and the sound is just what I wanted. still sounds like a Harley, a bit louder than stock pipes but quieter than my Kerker slip-on's.

It seems to have picked up a little detonation around 2000 rpm. I think I will have to fatten the jets up a little. I really haven't noticed any great performance increases yet, butI only put on about a hundred miles and half of those were with the OL so I usually don't crank itTOO much when she's with me.

Iguess I'll schedule it in for a dyno pretty soon

Anyway here are some pictures of the new look.

I'll put on the dyno sheet whenI get it.

Ordered a RB Racing Black Hole exhaust on 5 Feb 07 and it was delivered on 5 April 07. When I ordered I was told it would be about 6-8 weeks for delivery, I assumed it was going to take longer, but it was delivered in the time frame they told me.

Installed the exhaust system last weekend and put about 300 miles on them this weekend.

I'm real happy with mine, the sound is just right for me, the finish, the quality – excellent.

I'm curious....why do they put a shield where it doesn't need one? It looks to me like its mostly under the saddlebag...kinda throws off the look to me. Whats under the shield?

same here after a couple thousand miles and a poor start now resolved .
my black hole i nice but if you have an 07 do not expect any major performance improvement .even with the pc3 .

the torque and hp curves are very close on the oe and do not separate much until after the 4200 rpm line is passed .

Glad to hear good things, I have a set on order, only been two weeks soI will just have to be patient.

I think you wil find the performance gains if tuned properly. 2 into 1 will make better numbers. I ordered primarily due to the sound qulity, my build with the Rinharts is just too loud, way to loud. Wife standing next to me with bike idling, couldn't hear what she was saying.

I have always been a Rinehart fan, but have to move on now.
