Default Flange nuts required?

Im wanting to replace the four nuts that hold my exhaust on. What is on there are some 5/16 flange nuts but I havnt had any luck finding them at the local stores. Can I just use regular 5/16 nuts as long as I use loctite?

You can't get them at the dealer? I've bought them twice at the dealer.

I don't think I'd want to use a non flange nut. It would dig into the metal on the exhaust flange when it was tightened, and trying to get a washer on the stud would be a real exercise in dexterity.

If you are going to replace them anyway - get Stage 8 nuts as they cannot back off
