Has anyone heard any info about the new Hard Krome T-Rex true duals (sound and performence) Vs Rainehearts. I have sold my SE slip-ons to a freind and need new pipes. I have 05 ultra Stage one and SERT with 3500 miles. need solid advice.

I haven't heard any info on the pipes you mention, I think you are meaning Rineharts.

I haven't seen the T-Rex. Did you see them on-line? Curious because I'm ordering Rineharts on Monday.

Yes, I seen them in this months issue of AIM, but I went with the Rineharts put them on this weekend took longer to get old ones off they putting on the new ones like the sound could sound better while riding.

Default T-Rex opinion

I've been looking for over a year now for the right pipes. I teach a rider course and get to hear most all models and makes. Haven't heard anything I like until yesterday, this RK had the deepest rumble I've ever heard, not the popping rumble of the Rinehart or V&Hs. Today is the 3rd Wednesday of the month, my HD dealer has their 15% HOG days discount, this brings them to a price lower than I've found online. I'm ordering a set of the 3" T-Rex pipes, $637. with my 15% discount. They also have a 4" pipe and a 4" slash cut. 4" are a tad quieter and the slash cut sound like a two cylinder dragster. I like the 3" because they have a deep rumble, not a pop, and not extremely loud at idle, but crack the throttle and they sound like an old Mack truck coming down a mountain. If you can, check them out and compare. I should have mine by next week.
