Finally re-assembling my twin cam 95 upgrade with 203 cams and SE heads. However , while following the books instructions, it does not mention threadlocker on the cam plate and oil pump bolts. Should these bolts at least have threadlocker or at least removable 242? It doesn't make sense to use threadlocker on cover bolts and not cam plate bolts. Thanks for any help you may have.

I used blue on mine.

 

I use blue threadlocker on the oil pump bolts and the cam plate bolts. Make sure the bolts are clean and the threads are clean, any oil on them will not allow the threadlocker to work.
