fuel moto IC cylinder pros and cons.

Your eyes are playing tricks on you. Both cylinders in the picture noted above are 3.937" bore, our Fuel Moto IC cylinder is relieved for the oil jet.

Here is a picture of a FM IC cylinder with a CP 107FT 3.937" piston in the bore, if you have any additional questions you are welcome to contact me

Just looking at the top of that cylinder it appears it will also have enough meat in the machined aluminum for the water cooled heads. You wouldn't happen to have a pic with a water cooled gasket on the cylinder? That thing does have a seriously thick liner, do you clearance the bore to piston differently for this application with the CP piston?

Must be the same/same cylinder casting that MTC manufactures in 4 1/8" bore, and they just leave more material in the bore prior to them finishing it for you, and then they just simply turn the spigot O.D. for the 107" to fit in the un-bored cases, would be the only reason for the piston jet scallop in that 3.937" hole.............

MTC does not build a Harley casting and they have absolutely nothing to do with our IC cylinders, also note the sleeves are completely different between our 3.937 and 4.125 cylinders. While I appreciate your concern, it is clear what you are trying to do here. Yes the IC cylinders work with the twin cooled heads, for those attending we will have everything on display at V-Twin Expo Feb 8-9. We also have FM Level B CNC Twin Cooled heads on the shelf and shipping.

The heads look like stock on the outside, it's the inside porting and combustion chamber that is different, The heads are called Level B heads, The cylinders are IC, which look way different then stock, I'll post pics when I make it back to the shop.
