Default Enricher Cable

The plastic enricher **** broke on my 03 Fat Boy. Was shocked to find out that I have to replace the whole cable just to replace the ****. Do I have to remove the carb to get the cable on and off? FatRick has Fat fingers and cant reach the back of the carb. This is the first time I have ever posted on any forum. Kinda wondering how this works.

If yer little dick beaters can't get in there, simply remove the air cleaner and slip the carb off the manifold. unscrew the enrichner cable and transfer over the parts (it will be obvious) You can leave the manifold and cables on. If you want you can replace the rubber ring that seals the carb to the manifold, but more than likely it will be ok to run. A little windex on the rubber and the carb will slide right on (windex in small amounts is an aweseom lube that dissapates for rubber)

follow what Eagle said. But also , when you go to tighten down the ****, remember to tighten it finger tight, then 1/4 turn more... no more... If you tighten it too much, the nut will break the plastic threads off, and you will right back where you started...And no, there is no glue known to man that can glue this part back together, I have tried....
