I'm in Huntsville, AL now, I need to update my profile. Still not too far from Bob Woods'.

I got the price quote from Rod's Performance in Hanceville, AL. He does a lot of work with Bob Woods. That's a Wood's cam in the quote.Rod told me that I didn't need the Wood Carb. He generally recommends them for a more radical build.

I'm just going to have to step back, review all my options and then make adecision.Having recently moved here,it's hard to find a good indy shop. Rod came highly recommended from a forum member and I've asked around about him. He has a very good reputation.

I'll just have to be patient and find the best bang for my buck. I appreciate all the posts.

bfrmbama, I had my 06 Dyna rebuilt to 95 inches with Andrews cams. Have a good wrench in the Dacula-Winder area off 316, who used to run one of the local Harley shops. If you are interested, pm me.

I would hope you could get over 100hp and torq. with all that...? I believe I have read here on the forum people are getting 90/90 with a cam change?

I agree with what many have said.... that's a lota $$$$.....

Do some more check'n around. For a good bit less, you can get a whole lot more from someone like Head Quarters or GMR.

Also, the CV44 is not a good fit for that build ~ TOO Big!

ORIGINAL: Littleshack

$3700 Installed Drop off and pick up DONE!

$700 Gear Drive Cam
$300 Pistons Good ones JE
$140 Pushrods
$900-$1200 Heads
$125 Jugs

$4400 is alot of Flow to spend talk to Doug @ http://www.head-quarters.com/index.html
While I agree the original quote is on the high side...it is also pretty comprehensive. Your quote and his are only about 700 bucks apart but if you factor in the carb and ignition module and misc. extra doo dads he has on his then it is right at your number.

bama....to do this right you are going to have probably3-4k in the bike at least....but I think what some are saying is that for the amount of money you are spending on run ofthe mill SE stuff you could have some of the slickest head portingand camshaft designs out there.

I am in the middle of a 107 build right now and I went round and round and in theend I spent more than I wanted too but I think Iended up with exactly whatI wanted and it should blow doors off the equivalent SE build. Anyone who tells you that you can do a big bore kit for a couple grand is delusional and not adding up all of the other costs involved....they are also probably doing the labor themselves which can save some scratch.

Good Luck....My .02 cents.
