Sorry I already posted in the regular Sportster area, I shouldve posted in this section (whoops). Long story short, I'm thinking about buying a used set of Samson Big Guns and I'm pretty sure these have no baffles. I'm thinking a set of TTIs would give me back any torque I may lose and knock the volume down a couple of dBs. The bike is an 04 883xl and I want to do the pipes and an air cleaner at the same time. The carb has already been opened up, since the idle mixture screw is exposed. I know have no idea what size jets are in there, I'll figure it out when I install the air cleaner and open up the carb then and go from there. Hopefullly someone has done this with the Samsons and can suggest which inserts to buy. Thanks.
