I am building an old school bobber from my Night Train. I would like to use old parts as much as possible. Can I use any other exhaust systems from other models? I can weld and fab so I am not worried that brackets and stuff will not line up. I am just concerned with the pipes bolting up tot he motor and having the right diameter pipe.

 

If it is any help I am running an 08 exhaust on my 1990 bike. So things like port angles and pipe sizes are unchanged throughout that time. The only snag you may have is any changes at the rear of your bike to install the wide rear wheel, but as the swingarm looks similar in width to the frame you may be in luck!
