Default Vance & Hines question?

I'm new to Harley Davidson's and just purchased a new 2013 road king with the 103 motor. I also just picked up a pair of Vance & Hines pro pipe mufflers and was wondering if was okay running these mufflers without changing or using a power programmer? The motor is completely stock and only has 3000 miles on it.

Thanks,
AZmike

You could, but from my experience it tends to run like crap without a fueler. Check out the fuel moto micro tuner. It doesn't break the bank and it worked awesome with pipes and a/c. Some will tell you the ecm will adjust, but I can tell u from my own experience that my bike ran like complete dog crap without a fueler. It was literally embarrassing to ride it with all the sputtering and backfiring it was doing.

I ended up using the V&H fuelpak and it made a world of difference

Not changing the tune leaves horsepower on the table, just keep in mind.
