Question One quick question then we can let this thread die

Before the tips of these were cut..would you say the angle of that bend is 45* or 90*? I'm thinking 90*, but I'm not 100% sure.

thanks.

Does it have to be either/or? I am thinking the designer could have picked any angle he wanted then chop chop.

It could have been a 180 that could be cut at any angle.

it didn't have to be exact...just kind of a guesstimate. I'm going to be making up my own exhaust with some sort of a turn out like that, and i (the designer) am having a hard time making up my mind between 45 chopped, or a 90 chopped.

I'll say 45 but it hard to tell because it looks as though the cut is in the middle of the bend. Who knows if it continues to bend afterwards or not.

No it doesn't, but it is. The designer bent the pipe 45° then chopped off the end at 45°. If you weld a straight pipe to the open end it would be at a 90° angle.
