Help me build my 103
#12
SE 103+ heads are great, if you have a set of
SE 103+ pistons to go with them and a set of
SE 259E cams. only problem is they quit making
the 103+ heads and pistons a long while ago.
Here you go have a little fun with this, but If
I had it to do it all over again I would go with a 107

Nothing special about the 103" cylinders. The pistons are configured to be compatible with the heads but you don't have the heads. I would pass on the "deal" and work with what you have. Bore to 3.932" to fit aftermarket piston kit and have the heads decked, ported, etc. to work with cams of your choice.

I love the easy start cams 583, but they do make a funny sound when I shut it off sometimes, but I like the fact that I don't have to worry about compression releases. had my engine built for longevity not HP or TQ, more than happy with the performance with the exception of the S&S G carb, runs fine but think that a built 44 CV would perform better!

Last winter I had a "103" war going with my cousin lol.
I ended up with pistons/jugs from Scott @ hillside, along with TW8-6 cams.
Heads were already level B FM. Ended up at 113/118. Bent the tach like crazy.
Started pulling about 2700, then was REALLY coming on at 3,000
This was in my SG, if you had it in a Dyna be even quicker...
