Default White Bros "E" Series 2-1 Exhaust

This system was put on my bike in 2004 and I love it. It has a great sound and was dyno-tuned for the max. My question is: What's happened to White Bros. A google comes up with old commentary and tuner maps. It appears that they are defunct. Can anybody make a connection between White Bros and Supertrapp?

White Bros got out of Harley exhausts a couple of years ago. As far as I know they do not have a relationship with Super Trapp. White Bros is still going strong in the off-road motorcycle and ATV market though. Your 2-1 E-Series is a highly sought after pipe. I would hang on to it if I were you.

I think they spun the V-Twin line off to "Burly Brand" - http://www.burlybrand.com/product.html

They still have EZ-Clutch & lowering kits, but no more E-Series pipes! [:@]

Thanks for your help, BZ. I don't think I'll be swapping out these pipes anytime soon, they have to distinctive a sound that I really like. Plus great performance, of course. They have that supertrapp look to them, but have a different sound than the Supertrapps I've heard, but that may be due to different engine internals. Love that blacked out look on your RG, Phil. What 2-1 system is that, looks like new wheels, too?

The pipe is a Fatcat.... and, yes as a matter of fact, they are new wheels - thanks to Bart @ Cateye Customs!

ORIGINAL: BiggzedAs far as I know they do not have a relationship with Super Trapp.
From what I was told, some former employees of Supertrapp went to White Bros. and designed the E-series pipe to rival the Supertrapp design. That is why they are so similar, yet just different enough to avoid any trouble.

That's interesting info. Have you had a chance to compare the two systems sound?
Mine is running with 19plates and the closed endcap.

I went through two E Pipes on a 99 Road King. The first one rusted out after 3 years. It rusted out behind the rear cylinder. I replaced it with a new pipe before the company went under. Sent the new pipe to HPC and had it coated in and out before installing.
I uped my motor to 116" 3 years ago. Ran it with an end cap and 29 discs. Finally switched to a new exhaust this past summer (RB Racing Blackhole +10, 2-1). I have the E Pipe hanging in the garage just in case....

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I should take the pipe off and run it only on special occasions. Nah!! It will be a sad day, though, when she's gone.
