Default No Oil Pressure

So I had a lifter come apart at 35k miles. Take motor apart. Oil pump wiped out cams wiped out, egg shaped jugs.

Go with fueling oil pump and lifters, SE quick install PR, bore 103 cylinders .010 over, KB potions and rings, set ring gap at .026, SE performance heads, roller rockers, cosmetic .030 head gasket, clearance rocker boxes for valve springy clearance

I assemble motor per HD service manual specs. Head cycle engine, take bike out for break in ride, keep RPMs under 3K, come to a stop light bike in neutral, idle becomes a little rough and unstable, bike stalls, won't restart, push bike to side of road, bike restarts to oil pressure, plenty of top end noise. Get bike back home up on lift, check compression 150lbs in both holes, engine is full of oil, getting reading to open up cam chest,

Questions is what happened, no sure only about 90 out today engine temp was 235

What cam is in that? Same cam as before? Different cam, needs different calibration/tune.

Check for sumping.

Sounds to me like you might not have gotten all the debris out of the motor from the prior bad juju. Doesn't take much to FUBAR the oil pump.

No debris in motor. At assembly time.
Had S&S 585 chain drive cams.
Looks like Fueling oil pump seized, took out crank. I disassembled the rest of the motor today. No debris in cases , cylinders and new pistons looked good. Motor went together nicely, ran well through the heat cycles and the three short rides prior to this one. Pretty disappointing. I guess I have a reason to do a 124 in this bike now.

Only a question, but was the oil tank pulled, and cleaned?

Was it removed, and almost surgically cleaned?

2009 BAGGER. Dropped oil pan hot tanked and cleaned. Cleaned all the the trans/ mounting surfaces that showed no signs of metal, oil in the reservoir didn't either, disguarded oil cooler, cut oil filter in half no metal, no sure if maybe I didn't just get a bad oil pump.doesnt matter at this point. Crank is toast. Cylinders, pistons & rings look new.
