No wonder it was pinging on the way home; domed pistons, 80cc heads and intake close at 38*; no surprise there. Good that you were able to tune the ping out but if all the numbers you have provided are correct, static CR should be around 11:1 and CCP close to 220psi (sea level). I have never run that much compression in a street motor and wouldn't recommend it. I stick pretty much in the 10.5:1, corrected 9.3-9.5 and CCP 185-190psi; I guess I am just a "scaredy cat" when it comes to more compression!
