Default New mufflers on

I finally decided to replace my Tailgunner mufflers that the chrome had started pitting and flaking off of which left them completely rusted. I came across a set of good looking mufflers for my 2010 FLHTK on J&P Cycles website for only a couple hundred dollars. I thought I'd give them a try, since I spent appx $750 for the Tailgunners that only lasted appx 1 1/2 yrs before having to be replaced do to inferior workmanship. The new mufflers are made by Tedd's Mufflers. I put them on yesterday and they sound really good. They come with removable baffles and have a deep low rumble at idle and low RPM's but really come alive when you lean into the throttle. They seem to be pretty well made, and the removable end caps are nice looking and pretty solidly made. I'd compare the sound of them to Rhinehart's, which I love but did'nt feel like dropping almost $600 for a set of new mufflers. Only time will tell how well they hold up, but so far i'm pretty impressed with them,... especially since they were only $200.00.
