Default Problems with my 1997 road king

I have got a 1997 fuel injected road king. Once it warms up it starts running rough, motor starts to die and stalls then it comes back to life. It appears to be running on front cylinder as one of the pipes is only luke warm. Has anyone out there in harley land had similar problem and worked out the answer please

My first thought is a faulty head temperature sensor.

First try cleaning the throttle body. Make sure the idle air bleed screws at the top of each throat are clean.
