GDAY IVE GOT A ANNOYING PROBLEM WITH MY 2005 CARBY HERITAGE(I USE 98 OCTANE)WHEN I TAKE OFF WITH A CRACK OF THE THROTTLE IT CAN (NOT ALWAYS BUT OFTEN ENOUGH TO **** ME OFF)HESITATE AND COUGH AND SPLUTTER UNTIL IT CATCHES ITS BREATH AND THEN WERE OFF ALSO IT DOES THE SAME AGAIN PULLING UP TO SAY A SET OF LIGHTS OR STOP SIGN AFTER A GOOD RUN IT WILL HAVE A LITTLE SPLUTTER ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS WHY

play with the carb. I got my best response with 2 washers under the slide needle, a 46 slow jet and 190 main (all stock type CV jets)...I would advise not drilling the vacuum hole in the slide out bigger. Also check your float setting and needle efficiency...what do the plugs look like???

 

Yep sounds a little lean. I run a 48 slow jet and one washer under the needle. Just have to play with the carb a little bit to see what it likes. Good luck.
