Ok I bought a HPI 58mm TB for my SG. What aircleaner will fit this pig? It has stock mounting holes but has a larger bore. The 58 se has a different bolt pattern so ones that fit that are out. What options do I have? Do any aircleaners have a larger bore in the backplate that will work or am I going to have to do some modifying?

You can run a S/E or Ness backing plate with a Bob Wood 325 cfm filter, under an 8" round Evo-style cover.
I do believe that the throat of the backing plate has to be bored to match the 58.

Harley has a 58mm backing plate and air filter combo. HD # 29515-08

 

The SE Heavy Breather is a very good unit and fits 58mm TB's.
