Knocking engine
Has anyone experienced an engine knocking noise when engine is just warming up at 1500-2000 rpm. Noise is agrivating me to no end. Local dealer never seems to hear it. Even left bike over night so they could listen to it as it warms up. Noise started at about 500 miles. Less than 2,000 miles on it now. 2013 Classic.

I wish you luck. Ever since my 02 ultra was new I had some some valve train noise and they did not do a damn thing. They even tried to tell mi with was normal BS! I even filed a BBB complaint against the factory and still nothing. I fix part of it by replacing my lifters but for 92,000 miles still have some noise between 2600 and 3000 RPM. Sorry to say Harley does not give a damn after the sale and just one of the many reasons after buy 3 new Harley s I will NEVER buy another new one.
If you are making payments on it call the loan people and tell them. Problem with mine is I paid cash and had no where to go. I have a new set of rocker, shafts and mount I will instal when I do my first engine rebuild. hopefully in the next year only because I need more torque to pull my HD sidecar.

"local dealer never seems to hear it. I have even left it overnight so they could listen to it as it warms up"
Doesn't sound to me like the dealer has yet accepted that the knock is the dealer's problem. The OP is up against the "they all do that" syndrome.
Starting out as an asshate as has been suggested will be counter productive. Keep working with the service manager. Let them have it overnight again but secure the bike so that it cannnot be started before you arrive the next morning. Start it up, have your cell phone ready to record the noise and listen the the service manager present. Record the noise and the converstaion with the service manager and go from there.
That's not being an asshat but just a concerned customer making every effort to correct the problem since your first less aggressive approach didn't produce results.
