Default Is this battery problem?

Or something else. 2010 SG stage one pipes and A/C, Rev Per EMS tuner, use a battery tender most of the time when I'm not riding.
Here's the issue. When I cold start the bike the starter motor seems to stall like the engine suddenly has a lot of compression or the batteries low. It won't turn the engine over. I let off and give it a second. It's starts on the second try but not without a nice backfire out the pipes. Once the bike warms up it starts normally. It only dose this on the fisrt start of the day. My neighbors would really appreaciate a solution to this.

Have the battery load tested, check to see you have a full charge before starting your bike, then check the charging system output.

Symptomatic of a weak battery; pull it out and load test. The battery tender should be on all the time to maintain a fully chaged battery. When the battery gets pulled down a time or two, the tender won't bring it back. Batteries should last about four years if kept on a tender when not running; some will last longer.

If you ride it just about every day like I do you would not need a battery tender. LOL

Yes load test it.

We get very little snow here as well but we do get some every couple of years but it does not last long. Now the big snow of 73 I think it was was totally different and have not seen that much here since.
