I want to throw Short Shots on my 2013 Street Bob. Do I have to do any tuning or remapping or can I just bolt them on?

I've read from various forums that you can get by without a remap or new jets but it is recommended.

ha ha no jets on a 2013 !! if its just pipes you might get away with it but remapping or tuning would be best especially if you do a/c at the same time (which you should do...)

let it breathe better both ends.....

I am voting for a tune! Don't waste that extra power that's in the tune

My mechanic just told me it isn't necessary. I sure do get a lot of conflicting opinions when it comes to this stuff.

Wasn't planning on it yet. Just want to throw the pipes on for now and take care of the air and tuning later.

should be ok. if you start getting a lot of decel pop (to lean) then you may have to get it tuned.

You'll probably get decel pop from shorts...I have them, it's the one thing I don't like about my bike. They make squat back pressure so you don't get very much performance upgrade. Some baffles will help, create back pressure. They are also obnoxiously loud...yr locals will most likely call the cops every time u go past...and have a crap mid sounding note.
Read, ringing ears from a 40 mile ride. On a 200 mile ride I wore ear plugs but still had ringing ears.
