Default Big Radius Pipes

I think I am going to buy VH Big Radius pipes for my deuce. Is there any unhappy people that have purchased them and now regret it because of to loud, high pitch, etc. I am a low tone kind of person that wants a rumble and not really alot of volume.

Leave the baffles in them, we had one customer that just had to take the baffles out, I can hear him coming from two miles away it seems, with the baffles in they sound good, and I think they are a very good looking set of pipes.

I like mine andthey seem loud to me, but I've been told that as I ride by they are not as loud as others. I guess because they end right under me and are pointed at the ground the sound comes back to me more, but I love the sound and the deep tone.

My buddy's2" lowered Night Train has V&H Radius pipes...my stock height Standardhas V&H Straightshots. With baffles in both his are a tad louder IMO and seem to be a little lower pitched. You can hear us coming but it's not obnoxious loud. They look great on his Train but he has complained about scraping the tips onright handturns.

I didnt like the quality of the pipe welds and the customer service of V&H left much to be desired. they are quick to support your questions presale but then ever answer post sale is thats the way it is. That they do not care about the weld or the main pipe as it covered by heat shields.

I would look at the HOOKER alternative before jumping into the V&H pipes. If doing over I would have gone with them.
