I have a chance to pick up a nice used D&D fat cat 2 into one. It has the 18mm bungs (2009) and my bike is a 2010 which has the 12mm bungs. The seller has the plugs to convert to a 12mm bung. I called D&D to check out if there was anything I should be aware of before I bought and they said that the 2010 sensors were heat sensitive and they were relocated farther away from the head vs the 2009 version and this can affect tuning.

Is this for real or are they just trying to sell more pipes?

I haven't heard that, that's not to say it isn't true, but the o2 sensors on the Harley really are a joke, with that said, if this pipe is a great deal, but it. Put a pcv on it and plug the holes, that's what I would do. Chad
