FXR Build
Starting to tear down my FXR this weekend. Getting some ideas as to what I want to do. I am thinking 10:1 compression would be good being I want to up the power a little yet I dont want to be required to run the bike on 93. Especially with the already shitty gas we have to deal with these days. But that being said I will probably go with Wiseco pistons, a good valve job, S&S lifters, roller rockers, Super E w/thunderjet mod, and either a Wood 6 or Wood 8 cam. Debating on which would work better for this build. I am planning on having any machining done by Hillside Cycle in Munnsville, NY. I know Scott has a great reputation. But any input would be awesome, or any dyno's for something similar that someone has done. Thanks!!

I had a 93 fxr, cycle rams heads, wiseco 10 to 1s , vthunder 3020 camshaft, bike made something like 80/90 , Scott does great work, and is a vast wealth of knowledge, good luck on your build, p.s I wouldn't rule our the Andrews 46 for your build, half the price of those woods cams and come on like a switch ,
